Information about elective courses for the Master's in Pharmacy

Here you will find information about the courses you can choose as a student in the Master's in Pharmacy program for Fall 2025 and Spring 2025.

During your Master's in Pharmacy studies, you will need to select one elective course. The planned period for the elective course is the 2nd year of study, 3rd semester (Fall '25). Some of the elective courses belong to other master's programs at the Faculty of Health Sciences, and some belong to other faculties. These courses will be listed below.

If you wish to choose an elective course from another faculty, you will need to use a different registration method than for elective courses associated with the Faculty of Health Sciences. This will be indicated in the list below.

Alternatively, you can also choose to take elective courses in the 2nd year of study, 4th semester (Spring '26). These courses are listed below and are mandatory courses for the Master's in Health Technology. Information on registration for these will be provided during the Fall semester 2025.

It may also be possible to choose other master's courses at the Faculty of Health Sciences, master's courses from other faculties at OsloMet, or courses offered by other educational institutions (courses not listed below). In such cases, the student must find the desired course and apply for pre-approval of the course. If this is desirable, you should send an inquiry by 13.06.25.

Registration for elective courses is managed on a "first come, first served" basis. If the course you want is full, you will need to choose another available course.

Course Selection

Course selection takes place from June 1st at 09:00 until June 14th at 23:59. Registration is done via the studentweb. User guides will be made available via Canvas.
