The digital tools that make your everyday study life easier

Here is an overview of the tools that make it easier to keep track of everything from timetables and course content to maps of campus and KI services.

My studies

My studies gather shortcuts to useful tools, your personal schedule, messages in Canvas and checklist for the start of the semester in one place.

Download the app or log in to the website to get a good overview of your student life.

Student email (Outlook)

As a student, you get your own email address. Here you will receive information that applies to your study programme, you as a student, or there may be important messages from OsloMet.

It is your duty to check your email regularly.

Canvas

Canvas is your learning platform. Here you will find information about your course, and you can contact your teacher and your group.

You must be registered for the semester to gain access.

Studentweb

In Studentweb you register for semesters, pay the semester fee and find exam information. Here you will also find your student ID in a digital version.

You can get a student ID and semester card as an app on your mobile.

Mazemap

Mazemap shows you rooms, buildings and roads at OsloMet.

Microsoft Authenticator

Due to security, you must log in to OsloMet's digital services using two factors. One is your password and the other is Microsoft Authenticator.

Free AI tools for students

As an OsloMet student, you have free access to several artificial intelligence tools that you can use in your studies.

Microsoft 365 Copilot

Mirosoft 365 Copilot gives you access to free Word, Powerpoint and Excel. You also get access to OneDrive, where you get 1 TB of free storage.
