What is My Studies?

My studies is an app and a website for OsloMet students. It brings together information and tools in one place. When you use the app, you can receive push notifications about messages and timetable changes directly on your mobile phone.

What can I find in My Studies?

Checklist

In My Studies you will find a checklist of what you need to do at the start of each semester. If you are a new student, you will get a dedicated checklist with everything you need to do to become a student at OsloMet.

Lecture schedule

In My Studies you will find your personal lecture schedule. You will also see

  • Exams you are registered for
  • Assignments with deadlines from Canvas
  • Room bookings you have made
  • Bookings for supervision
  • Notifications about cancellations and timetable changes

Remember to enable push notifications for these updates.

Shortcuts to tools

From the app you get direct shortcuts to tools such as Canvas, Outlook, and Studentweb. You can also add your own shortcuts.

Programme and course descriptions

You will find links to your programme plan and to course descriptions for the courses you are registered for in the current semester.

Messages

Messages appear as notifications in the app. They come from announcements in Canvas and from changes or cancellations made in the lecture schedules.
