Student ID App

• Your Student ID App, when presented together with your student card can be used as full student ID.
• You must have registered and paid the semester fee in order for student ID to be valid.
• You can download the app on IOS (iPhone/iPad), Android and Windows.
• The Student ID App is accepted by Ruter, NSB and SiO, among others.
• The semester card is no longer required as ID at examinations

Students at OsloMet can now use the Student ID app as a European Student Card (ESC). In Studentweb under "My Profile," you can activate the European Student Card. Once activated, you will see a QR code in the Student ID app. The QR code can be used as a digital student ID in Europe, especially in countries participating in the Erasmus program. To obtain a European Student Card, you must:

• Meet the requirements to get a Student ID on mobile (be registered and have paid the semester fee)
• Have a Norwegian ID number

If you do not have a smartphone or cannot use the student ID app and need confirmation that you are a student, you can order a student confirmation on Studentweb.
•    Log on to Studentweb, select orders, confirmation of student status with digital signature, and order. 
•    After about 10 minutes, you will find the student confirmation under the menu option documents.
Note that you must be registered for the semester and have paid the semester fee before you can order confirmation of student status
