Programme description
Course history

Introduction

The following coursework is compulsory and must be approved before the student can sit the exam:

  • course in literature searches and source criticism
  • approved progress schedule
  • two oral presentations.

Required preliminary courses

The assessment of the group bachelor's thesis (2-4 students) will be based on the execution of the project, the report, an oral presentation and a poster in English.

1. The execution and oral presentation count 40% and are assessed on the basis of the project's level of difficulty and the students planning, progress, initiative, practical skills, assessment skills, independence and cooperation skills. This part of the project cannot be appealed.

2. The report and the poster count 60% and are assessed on the basis of their academic quality, clear presentation, systematic structure, language, academic references and the students degree of independence in the writing process.

Both parts of the exam must be awarded an E or better in order for the student to pass the course.

Only the grade given for part 2 (the written report) can be appealed.

Teaching and learning methods

Two internal examiners. External examiners are used regularly.

Course requirements

Følgende arbeidskrav er obligatorisk og må være godkjent for å fremstille seg til eksamen:

  • To skriftlige delinnleveringer knyttet til prosjektoppgaven.
  • Presentasjon av forretningsplan

Assessment

  1. Skriftlig semesteroppgave, individuell eller i gruppe (teller 40%)
  2. Individuell skriftlig eksamen på 3 timer (teller 60%)

Begge deler av eksamen (semesteroppgave og individuell skriftlig eksamen) må være vurdert til karakter E eller bedre for at studenten skal kunne få bestått emne.

Eksamensresultat kan påklages.

Konteeksamen arrangeres kun i tilknytning til vårens eksamen.

Permitted exam materials and equipment

  1. Semesteroppgaven: Alle hjelpemidler tillatt så lenge regler for kildehenvisning følges.
  2. Individuell skriftlig eksamen: Håndholdt kalkulator som ikke kommuniserer trådløst og som ikke kan regne symbolsk. Dersom kalkulatoren har mulighet for lagring i internminnet skal minnet være slettet før eksamen. Stikkprøver kan foretas.

Gradert skala A-F.

En intern sensor. Ekstern sensor brukes jevnlig.
