Innledning
This course focuses on how cultural factors influence experiences with user interfaces. The project work may partly be carried out at the Design Department at São Paulo State University and/or SORRI-BAURU Rehabilitation Centre in Bauru, Brazil.

Læringsutbytte
The course is organized as a series of lectures and seminars that cover the main theories. After this, students may travel abroad (for up to 6 weeks) to carry out fieldwork in collaboration with partners. (See requirements in section 7.) Examples of possible fieldwork are requirement analysis or testing a culture neutral prototype.
Innhold
All læring i kroppsøving er preget av kroppslig erfaring. Det legges derfor vekt på teoretiske perspektiv som drøfter forholdet mellom kropp og læring. Sentrale teoretiske perspektiv vil blant annet være:
- Fenomenologisk perspektiv på kropp og læring
- Sosiokulturelt perspektiv på kropp og læring
- Sosialkonstruktivistisk perspektiv på kropp og læring
Emnet belyser også kroppens sentrale betydning i identitetsarbeid. I tillegg fokuseres det på hvordan kroppsøvingsundervisningen kan tilpasses alle elevers forutsetning og behov. I denne sammenheng diskuteres det også hvordan kroppsøvingsfaget kan tilpasses et samfunn preget av mangfold.
Arbeids- og undervisningsformer
- A group project plan must be approved before the project starts. Students will receive feedback during the planning stage of the project.
- Groups carry out projects according to project plan which last for 6 weeks.
- A 30-minute group project presentation in a mini-conference in class in the end of the semester.
Arbeidskrav og obligatoriske aktiviteter
A grading scale of A (highest) to F (lowest) where A to E is a pass grade and F is a fail grade.
Vurdering og eksamen
Two internal examiners will assess the reports and reflection statements. External examiner is used periodically.

Det benyttes gradert karakterskala fra A til E for bestått og F for ikke bestått eksamen.
