E-mail, lecture schedule (TP), Canvas, Studentweb and Office 365. Here you will find information about the tools you need as a student at OsloMet.
student.oslomet.no
At student.oslomet.no you can find information about guidelines, regulations, events and about life as a student at OsloMet. As soon as you have registered for the semester and you are logged in, you will have access to your personal lecture schedule.
All students have their own e-mail account. You are obliged to check your e-mail regularly, as you will receive important information from OsloMet.
Lecture schedules (TP)
You will find your personal schedule when you have completed your semesterregistration. Log in at student.oslomet.no.
Canvas
Canvas is the learning management system used at OsloMet. When you have completed your semester registration, you will have access to all your courses in Canvas. Canvas enables you to find information about your course and to have contact with your lecturer and groups.
Studentweb
Log in to Studentweb to complete the semester registration and pay the semester fee. Studentweb also contains information about your exams.
Remember that you can get your semester card as an app on your smartphone.
Office 365
Install Office 365 and get a free copy of Microsoft Office to your computer. Office 365 also includes cloud services like OneDrive, Outlook and Office Online (1 TB free storage).
AI tools
As a student at OsloMet, you have access to Microsoft Copilot and Sikt KI chat. Both tools help you find information and answer questions. Copilot also generates images, while Sikt KI-chat has a greater capacity to answer longer texts. Security and privacy are safeguarded in both solutions.
