Tartu Health Care College Tervishoiu Körgkool is located in Estonia's second largest city, Tartu. The school was established in 1811 as a school for midwives. Today, the college offers higher education within health care and social care.

Tartu is historically one of the most prestigious cities in Estonia and was mentioned in written chronicles in 1030. Tartu is known as a student city because it is the home to one of Northern Europe’s oldest university and students have flocked to this city since 1632. Every 5th citizen is a student in Tartu and twice a year the traditional “student days” are arranged to celebrate students. The city is compact with short distances to everything. When you arrive in the city you will discover the large classic town square, which is surrounded by museums, cafes and parks. Since Tartu is a creative town, there are often theater performances, concerts or festivals in the city.

The college aims to be innovative, international and to distribute knowledge and learning with high quality in an inspiring environment. The school building is modern and has good equipment which is used for practical training within health care and social care. The school is known for good research and they focus on integrity, development, professionalism and human-centeredness.
