ARK3900 Bacheloroppgave Emneplan

I bacheloroppgaven skal studenten anvende teorier og metoder fra studiets fagområder på en selvstendig valgt problemstilling. Studenten velger selv tema for oppgaven.

Første og andre studieår må være fullført.

Kunnskaper

Studenten

• har kjennskap til arkivvitenskapelig teori, metode og forskning
• har god oversikt over aktuell teori og forskning på det området som oppgaven omhandler

• er i stand til å utarbeide en presis og avgrenset arkivvitenskapelig problemstilling
• kan anvende relevant teori på eget materiale
• er i stand til å innhente, analysere, vurdere og organisere relevant materiale
• kan drøfte egne valg av metode og teoretisk grunnlag i forhold til alternative løsninger
• er i stand til å gjennomføre og formidle et selvstendig arbeid

Generell kompetanse

Studenten

• kan planlegge et selvstendig prosjekt som strekker seg over tid
• kan formidle skriftlig sentralt fagstoff som teorier, problemstillinger og funn

The student can

• explain different CT scan parameters, how they relate to each other and their effect on the image quality and radiation dose of the CT examinations
• explain the general principles for CT optimisation with respect to image quality and radiation dose
• explain the clinical application of the different protocols
• explain optimisation of contrast agent examinations using new technology
• describe how advanced new CT technology can be used in optimisation projects

• apply advanced image processing methods in CT examinations

The student can

• discuss the role of CT in diagnostic imaging at present and in future
• assess the role of innovation in the field of CT

The work and teaching methods include,lectures, seminars, skills training and self-study.

Written home exam in groups of 2–4 students, up to 1,500 words. Duration: 8 hours.

Resit assessment/exam: Students who are awarded the grade "Fail" on the home exam has the right to submit a reworked version once.

All aids are permitted.
