AKTF6000 Active dissemination in libraries Course description

Emnet gir en teoretisk og praktisk introduksjon til formidlingsarbeid. Kjennskap til brukergrupper og publikum, institusjonelle rammer for formidling samt ulike formidlingspraksiser står sentralt. Emnet gir grunnleggende innsikt i retorikk som praktisk ferdighet og kommunikasjons teori med relevans for bokprat så vel som veilednings- og læresituasjoner. Emnet vektlegger formidling av ulike medier og sjangere igjennom formidlingspraksiser og diskuterer formidlingens rammer med et institusjonelt utgangspunkt og endret medielandskap.

The course provides a basic introduction to human anatomy and physiology. The students learn about the structure and function of organ systems with a focus on the nervous system. Furthermore, students learn about motor development and about the primary needs of humans, the various nutrients and their function. The students also learn about the infectious agents, about their structure and properties, about the spread of infection and hygienic measures, and the immune system.

On successful completion of the course, the student has the following learning outcomes classified as knowledge:

Teaching and learning methods include lectures, seminars, group work, written assignments, a multiple-choice test and self-study.

For å kunne framstille seg til eksamen må studenten ha følgende godkjente arbeidskrav:

Arbeidskrav 1: Arbeid i mindre grupper på 2-3 studenter. Gruppen skal utarbeide en plan for et arrangement eller arrangements-serie. Planen skal inneholde arrangementets program, målgruppe, tematikk, forslag til mulige aktiviteter og ressurspersoner (for eksempel foredragsholdere noen en kan intervjue og eller andre). Planen skal være på maks 2 sider. Refleksjon om gjennomføring fra ide til sluttprodukt, målgrupper, kontekstforståelse m.m. skal gruppen presentere muntlig for de andre studentene. Hver presentasjon vil ta mellom 10-15 minutter.

Arbeidskrav 2: Hverandrevurdering. Hver student skal gi skriftlig tilbakemelding (inntil en side) på arbeidskrav 1 hos to grupper.

Arbeidskrav 3: Individuell muntlig presentasjon. Hver student skal presentere en faglig tekst (inntil 10 minutter) for medstudentene som utgangspunkt for faglig samtale. Teksten skal omhandle noe som knytter an til emnets tematiske innhold, for eksempel bibliotekenes formidlingspraksis og samfunnsmandat eller tekstsjangere.

Arbeidskravene må være gjennomført og godkjent innen fastlagt frist for at studenten skal kunne framstille seg til eksamen. Dersom et eller flere arbeidskrav ikke blir godkjent, gis det anledning til å kunne levere en forbedret versjon én gang innen angitt frist.

All answers are assessed by one examiner.

An external examiner is used regularly, at a minimum of every third completion of the course. When selecting answers for external evaluation, a minimum of 10 percent of the answers shall be included, with no fewer than 5 answers. The external examiner’s assessment of the selected answers shall benefit all students.
