Information about elective courses for the Master's in Health Technology
During your Master's in Health Technology – specialization in Biomedicine, you will need to complete one elective course during the 2nd year of study in the fall semester.
During your Master's in Health Technology – specialization in Radiography, you will need to complete one elective course during the 3rd year of study in the fall semester.
You may choose courses that are elective courses from the study program, but you also have the possibility to choose courses from other OsloMet faculties. Which courses is done below and you have to register for those via contact form.
It may also be possible to choose courses at other national or international educational institutions. The elective course must be approved by the program manager for the master's program. If this is desirable, you should send an inquiry.
Course Selection
Course selection takes place from June 3rd at 09:00 until June 13th at 23:59. Registration is done via the studentweb. User guides will be made available via Canvas.
Practical Information:
- Registration for elective courses is managed on a "first come, first served" basis. If the course you want is full, you will need to choose another available course.
- If a course does not get enough registered students according to the provisions in the program plan, the course may be canceled. If this happens, you will be contacted and offered the opportunity to register for one of the other courses.
- The schedule for Fall 2025 will be available around June 1.
