Mandatory attendance 28 August
It is mandatory to attend the first day of class, as you will be registering on this day. If you do not attend, your admission to study will be revoked. You will find the exact time and place for your attendance in the timetable above from June 1.

Have you accepted your offer?
You must accept the offer of admission in Søknadsweb within the given deadline. Please get in touch with opptak@oslomet.no as soon as possible if you have accepted your offer, but are unable to participate in the programme. Remember to include your application number in the email.

Access to OsloMet's systems
OsloMet creates a user account for you. You will receive an email from us with information about how to activate your account and get access to the systems, tools and services you need. This is sent to you automatically in the weeks before the semester starts.
Use the Mine studier app to get an overview of your timetable, courses, semester start checklist and notifications. You can also create personal shortcuts to the tools and services you use in your studies.
Not able to attend the first day
If you are not able to attend the first day due to illness or other compelling reasons, you must apply for a postponed study start. Please send an application to infosenter-tkd@oslomet.no. Include:
- Complete name
- Study programme
- Date for when you will be able to attend.
Applying for exemption
You can apply for exemption from a course or an examination if you have already passed an equivalent course/examination. It is not possible to apply for exemption before you start your studies.
