In the heart of the city of Barcelona is the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. This is a leading technical university in Europe and students come here to stake higher education in the fields of architecture, science, technology, and engineering. The university has nine campuses that are well connected by public transport.


Barcelona is a famous destination for many, and the city has more than great beaches to offer. The city is surrounded by several mountain peaks and the Catalan Pyrenees are approx. two hours away from the city. This gives you the opportunity to go skiing or perhaps try alpine. Not only do they have mountains, but the city is also located along the coast towards the Mediterranean, here you can sail, do water sports, or take it easy and relax on one of the beautiful beaches around the coastline. Be cultural one day and visit the famous church Sagrada Familia, the cathedral or the park Güell, which has become a famous symbol of the city.
