About the study place

Mittuniversitetet is located in the two Swedish cities, Sundsvall and Östersund. The university has roots dating back to 1842 and is today known for its research in a number of different areas. The school offers educations and courses in social sciences, behavioural sciences, media, health, teacher education, IT, science and technology.

Since the year 2000, Sundsvall has been ranked as Sweden's most student-friendly place several times. Sundsvall has a lot to offer when it comes to culture, activities and shopping. There is a wide range of leisure activities here and they have, among other things, five downhill slopes, a skate park and Himblabadet, which is a swimming hall. If you love activities, nature and the outdoors, this is the place for you. The city center is full of cozy cafes, beautiful stone houses from the 19th century and several of Sweden's best restaurants are located here. Go cross country skiing in the winter or visit the Camp MidAdventure, adventure park in the summer. You will definitely find something you like in Sundsvall.

In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution.

This institution does not offer student accommodation, but they have made a website where you will find some good advice that will help you find accommodation (miun.se/en).
