About the study place

This is a university college with eight campuses located in the Danish region of Zealand.

The school offers educations programmes with focus on the areas of social work, pedagogy, health and teaching. The eight campuses are located in Holbæk, Kalundborg, Næstved, Roskilde, Slagelse, Sorø, Vordingborg and Nykøbing F.

One of the campuses is located in the city of Roskilde. The campus has a great study environment with committed lecturers. At the campus you will find social activities, stand-up shows, introduction parties and games in the student lounge. Roskilde is a city with a good mix of culture, history and nature. If you are interested in history, you can visit the famous Roskilde Cathedral or go to the Viking Ship Museum. Every year, the famous Roskilde Festival is held, which is one of Europe's largest festivals. This city has a lot to offer and from the campus and to the city center you will only use about two minutes with public transport. If you need some time off from your studies, you can take a walk in the national park "Skjoldungernes Land" or take the train to the capital Copenhagen. This is a train ride that only takes around 20 minutes.

Absalon University College uses research developed at the school, to strengthen students' knowledge and competence. Therefore, the school focuses on quality and innovation. If you choose to study at this school, you as a student will experience high academic quality and a good study environment.

Credits

In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution.
