  • Innledning

    This course is a four-week attendance-based teaching module. The course contains individual programming exercises and a group-programming project. Course participants will work in groups on the final project and this project will be evaluated at the end of the course based on a group oral presentation.

    None.

  • Læringsutbytte

    An oral group-presentation of a project and a code repository. Each group may consist of 2-3 students. The presentation and code repository counts for 100% of the final grade. The oral presentation cannot be appealed.

  • Arbeids- og undervisningsformer

    All support materials are allowed for the oral presentation.

  • Arbeidskrav og obligatoriske aktiviteter

    The final assessment will be graded on a grading scale from A to E (A is the highest grade and E the lowest) and F for fail.

  • Vurdering og eksamen

    Two examiners will be used, one of which can be external. External examiner is used regularly.

  • Hjelpemidler ved eksamen

    To understand some of the concepts presented in this new course, it is recommended to have completed mathematics at least at high school algebra level. This course is especially designed for people who do not have any previous experience with programming.

  • Vurderingsuttrykk

    The course has 1 ECTS of overlapping content towards Basic Programming ADTE1400. The course has 5 ECTS of overlapping content towards STKD6710 Introduction to Programming.

  • Sensorordning

    The essay will be approved by the course coordinator.

  • M�lgruppe og opptakskrav (enkeltemner)

    The candidates for this subject are doctoral students in library and information science but the course is also relevant for doctoral students in cultural studies, cultural sociology, and political science.

    Aiming primarily to cover the needs of PhD students admitted to the PhD program in library and informations sicence at OsloMet. Doctoral candidates from other institutions and other subject fields as mentioned above, are also welcome to apply. The course is also to the extent there is room, open to applicants who have completed either 'hovedfag' or a master's degree (120 credits) within a relevant academic area.
