Arbeids- og undervisningsformer

The course consists of three parts, of which the first and the third take place at Oslo Metropolitan University. In-between, there is an online course with individual and group work requirements.

This course is based on a combination of lecture dialogues, student presentations, group experiments, and group works on thematic issues. Collaborative learning makes a core value in the program, giving justice to the experience and academic assets the students bring to the program. This includes composition of student groups consisting of people with a different background.

English is the principal language of instruction in lectures; however, the course will be taught in Norwegian if no English-speaking students have registered in the course.

Arbeidskrav og obligatoriske aktiviteter

The following coursework is required and must be approved before the student can take the exam:

  • Individual submission of a written short-paper (500- 700 words) discussing a theme accentuated in the course.
  • An oral presentation of results developed through online group discussions (15 minutes per group).
  • There is a requirement of 80% participation in all classes to sit for the exam. For more details see the program plan.

The coursework requirements may be submitted in Norwegian language and must be submitted by the deadlines. Students who fail to meet the coursework requirements can be given an extended deadline.
