    Emnet er 100 prosent faglig overlapp med emne ZFIG1 Figurteater 1.

  • Required preliminary courses

    Most of the work will take place in workshops and seminars. The students will test different ideas and techniques and subsequently analyse the work. They will have responsibility for organising and carrying out their own group work. The students must therefore set aside time for individual work and group practice outside the ordinary time spent on teaching.

    Lectures, workshops, discussions, presentations, assessment and excursions linked to the students’ understanding of the discipline and development of own practice. Study trips can be organised to relevant puppet theatre festivals/communities

  • Learning outcomes

    After completing the course, the student should have the following learning outcomes defined in terms of knowledge, skills and general competence:;

    The student

    • can describe different theories and knowledge that form the basis for designing physiotherapy adapted to children and adolescents
    • can critically reflect on the theoretical perspectives and research on which family-centred services are based
    • can describe theoretical perspectives and research on which interprofessional work is based

    Skills;

    The student

    • can critically reflect on factors that can support children’s movement development, motor learning and participation in everyday activities
    • can assess and integrate different forms of knowledge in the planning and execution of measures for children and adolescents
    • can analyse and critically assess factors that promote or impede interprofessional cooperation;

    General competence;

    The student

    • can analyse and critically reflect on the knowledge basis and practice of physiotherapy for children and adolescents
    • can communicate up-to-date knowledge of the field to collaborative partners and the population at large
    • can identify and assess ethical dilemmas related to physiotherapy for children and adolescents
  • Teaching and learning methods

    The course will use varied, student-active work methods. The teaching is session-based with two sessions over five days; four days of teaching and one study day per week. There are four to six weeks between each session.

    Teaching at the sessions will vary between lectures and student-active learning in the form of seminars, group work and presentations. Aside from session-based teaching, the teaching methods used are self-study and work on an examination assignment. Students can choose to submit a draft examination paper during the course (approx. 1,000 words). Lecturers and fellow students will provide oral feedback on the drafts submitted.

  • Course requirements

  • Assessment

    A grade scale with grades from A to E for pass (with A being the highest grade and E being the lowest pass grade) and F for fail is used for the final assessment.

  • Permitted exam materials and equipment

    1. Utviklingsoppgave - individuell

    En intern sensor og en bedømmersensor (vurderer et utvalg av eksamensoppgavene). Ekstern sensor brukes jevnlig.

    2. Praktisk utøvende eksamen - gruppe

    Eksamenen vurderes av to sensorer. Emnet kan bli trukket ut til ekstern sensur.

  • Grading scale

    Bestått DT1000 Drama og teaterkommunikasjon 60 studiepoeng eller tilsvarende kan være en fordel, men ikke noe krav.

  • Examiners

    The course comprises four main areas:

    • Acting with puppets
    • The puppet in the scenic space
    • Puppet theatre and storytelling techniques
    • Theory and subject didactics
  • Overlapping courses

    The course overlaps by 10 ECTS credits with FYSBA6010 Paediatric physiotherapy - knowledge-based 1 (20 ECTS credits) in the topics measures and treatment.
