One internal examiner. External examiners are used regularly.
Teaching and learning methods
The course builds on knowledge acquired in the courses EMTS2200 Fluid Mechanics and EMTS2300 Heat Transfer.
Course requirements
The following coursework is compulsory and must be approved before the student can sit the exam:
- 4 compulsory exercises, estimated time 4 hrs each
- 4 compulsory lab assignment estimated time 4 hrs each
Assessment
Individual written exam, 3 hours
The exam result can be appealed.
Permitted exam materials and equipment
A handheld calculator that cannot be used for wireless communication or to perform symbolic calculations. If the calculator’s internal memory can store data, the memory must be deleted before the exam. Random checks may be carried out.
