Innledning
I bacheloremnet skal studentene erfare at studieopphold ved institusjoner utenfor Norge gir utvidet innsikt i og handlingsrepertoar for pedagogisk arbeid med barn, personale og foreldre med ulik bakgrunn og ulike forutsetninger. Studieoppholdet byr på muligheter for økt bevisstgjøring og handlingskompetanse i forhold til interkulturell kommunikasjon, etisk refleksjon og flerkulturell pedagogikk. Oppholdet bidrar til personlig og faglig bevisstgjøring om egne verdier og eget pedagogisk ståsted i forhold til syn på barn, lek, læring og voksen-barn relasjoner.
Perioden stiller høye krav til selvstendighet og evne til å søke veiledning og innhente kunnskap og erfaringer fra ulike kilder. I arbeidet med bacheloroppgaven skal studentene bygge på kunnskaper fra tidligere deler av studiet og fordype seg i et tema de ser som vesentlig for sitt framtidige arbeid som barnehagelærer. Det kreves godkjenning som utvekslingsstudent i tråd med OsloMets regelverk.

- Har begynnende kunnskap om vitenskapsteori, forskningsmetode og forskningsetikk
- Har innsikt i situasjonen for barn, lokale barnehagepraksiser og pedagogisk tenkning i området hvor studieoppholdet finner sted
- Har kunnskap om interkulturell kommunikasjon, komparativ og flerkulturell pedagogikk
- Har kunnskap om og innsikt i samfunnsforhold og kulturen i vertslandet

Studenten
- Har evne til å formulere og avgrense en pedagogisk og/eller fagdidaktisk problemstilling
- kan anvende noe vitenskapsteoretisk og metodisk kunnskap til å formidle og dokumentere erfaringer og sentralt fagstoff innen det selvvalgte temaet
- Kan kommunisere faglig om egne og andres kulturelle og især pedagogiske tradisjoner og verdier i en interkulturell kontekst
- Viser ferdigheter i akademisk skriving og kan visuelt fremstille og reflektere kritisk over interkulturelle erfaringer fra perioden
- Kan planlegge og gjennomføre et selvstendig arbeid i tråd med faglige og metodiske krav og forskningsetiske retningslinjer

· has developed knowledge of myths, fairytales and legends
· has achieved an understanding of the content of the narratives, both the structure and motives and the psychological ramifications
· has acquired insight into the role of oral society for the emergence of fairy tales
Skills
The student is able to
· understand how narrative patterns can be used in aesthetic productions
· work creatively with music, art, drama etc.
· create different story based performances
General competence
The student
· has developed an awareness of cultural heritage
· is able to write an individual paper on a chosen topic within the main subject of the course
· is able to use myths, fairy tales and legends in a didactic context
· can reflect on and produce authentic texts and media products aimed at authentic target groups
· can reflect on and contribute to entrepreneurship related to the course contents

Sensorordning
Grading scale, A-F.
Grading will be according to the ECTS-grading scale, with A-E as pass grades and F as fail grade. Criteria for the different grades will be presented to the students at the beginning of the course.
