Introduction
The following must have been approved in order for the student to take the exam:
- Blood test course, compulsory participation
- Group assignment, an academic question is chosen with relevance to the practical training establishment and of significance to patient safety. Groups of 3–4 students. Oral presentation in the practical training establishment

Assessment in practice
The assessment takes its point of departure in given criteria based on learning outcomes for the course, the continuous assessment and compulsory activities carried out by the student throughout the practical training. Students’ practical training can only be assessed if their attendance is sufficiently high (90%). For more information, see the general part of the programme description about assessment in practice.

Course requirements
The contact lecturer approves the grade after recommendation from the practical training supervisor. The final decision on whether to award a pass or fail grade is made by the university.
