After completion of this course, the student has the following learning outcomes, defined as knowledge, skills and general knowledge:
Knowledge
- Solve basic dc- and ac-circuits
- Analyze transients in first order RL- and RC-circuits
- Understand problem solving methods in electric circuits using programming
- Understand design and control instrument amplifiers using microcontrollers
Skills
- Use instruments like oscilloscopes, function generators and multi meters
- How to design a instrument amplifier for measuring analog and digital sensor values
- How to control and program a microcontroller with sensors and actuators
- Solve basic dc- and ac-circuits
- Analyze transients in first order RL- and RC-circuits
General knowledge
- Analyze a problem and suggest a method to solve the problem
- Discuss and make qualified choices in the design of electric circuits
- Implement an electric system using C programming and microcontrollers

Innhold
I emnet BAPD3100 skal studenten gjennomføre et designprosjekt med en helhetlig prosess og tilegne seg særlig kunnskap og erfaring innenfor valgt fordypning. Tema for fordypningen skal være innenfor designfaglige områder og arbeidsprosessen skal resultere i noe som er realiserbart. Studentene oppfordres til å oppsøke eksterne ressurspersoner i prosjektet.
Fordypningen kan inngå som en forberedelse for den kommende Bacheloroppgaven i siste semester, med en inkluderende og iterativ designprosess som leder mot et realiserbart resultat.
Studenten har mulighet til å velge ekstern praksis i inntil to dager pr uke gjennom emnet. Praksisplassen må være i et eksternt fagmiljø og studenten er selv ansvarlig for å finne relevant praksisbedrift og å gjøre avtale om praksisoppholdet. Bedrift og avtale må forhåndsgodkjennes av emneleder / instituttet.
Arbeids- og undervisningsformer
The following required coursework must be approved before the student can take the exam: Completion of three laboratory exercises and one individual project assignment (2500 - 5000 words).
Arbeidskrav og obligatoriske aktiviteter
3-hour written final examination.
The exam grade can be appealed.
New/postponed exam
In case of failed exam or legal absence, the student may apply for a new or postponed exam. New or postponed exams are offered within a reasonable time span following the regular exam. The student is responsible for applying for a new/postponed exam within the time limits set by OsloMet. The Regulations for new or postponed examinations are available in Regulations relating to studies and examinations at OsloMet.
Vurdering og eksamen
A calculator that cannot be used to communicate with others.
Hjelpemidler ved eksamen
For the final assessment a grading scale from A to E is used, where A denotes the highest and E the lowest pass grade, and F denotes a fail.
Vurderingsuttrykk
Two internal examiners. External examiner is used periodically.
