Course history

Introduction

Foretaksretten omfatter selskapsrettens regler for stiftelse og drift av selskaper, herunder egenkapitaltransaksjoner og ansvars- og heftelsesformer, lovgivningen om finansmarkedene, herunder regler om innsidehandel mv, og lovgivningen om insolvens og konkurs. Emnet inkluderer innføring i juridisk metode og grunnleggende regler om avtaler, kjøp og pengekrav. Formålet er å gjøre studentene i stand til å analysere og ta stilling til rettsspørsmål i foretak.

Learning outcomes

The management of human resources is an important management task in most enterprises. In the practical management work, this area is closely related to financial management, organisation and strategic management. The course builds in particular on Organisation Theory, Leadership, and Business Strategy from the bachelor's degree programme, and on Research Methods for Social Sciences, Microeconomics and Introduction to Managerial Accounting. Recent research and current articles will play a key role in the course.

Course requirements

For å kunne fremstille seg til eksamen må studentene ha følgende godkjente arbeidskrav:

  • Arbeidskrav 1: En individuell skriftlig innlevering på maks 5 sider. 

Arbeidskravet må være gjennomført og godkjent innen fastlagt frist for at studenten skal kunne framstille seg til eksamen. Dersom arbeidskravet ikke blir godkjent, gis det anledning til å kunne levere en forbedret versjon én gang innen angitt frist.

Assessment

Varied forms of teaching will be used, with a combination of lectures, guest lectures, class discussions and student presentations.

Permitted exam materials and equipment

Students must submit two written group assignments of up to twelve pages in total that must be approved and presented to the class before the student can take the exam. The presentation will take up to 25 minutes. If the assignment is not approved, the student will be given one opportunity to submit an improved version. The lecturer will inform students of deadlines for submission.

Grading scale

A supervised written five-hour exam is held at the end of the semester. Students who become ill or fail an exam are entitled to register for a resit/rescheduled exam in the course in accordance with the Regulations relating to Studies and Examinations at OsloMet.
