I dette emnet tilegner studentene seg grunnleggende kunnskaper i bedriftsøkonomisk teori og metode, samt innsikt i og trening i bruk av sentrale bedriftsøkonomiske modeller og analysemetoder. Studentene oppøver sine kunnskaper om fremskaffelse, analyse og kommunikasjon av relevant beslutningsinformasjon, slik at de kan diskutere og vurdere alternativer, treffe beslutninger og formidle relevant og nyttig informasjon til brukere.

Kunnskap

Studenten:

• har kunnskaper om sentrale bedriftsøkonomiske begreper
• har kunnskaper om bedriftens mål og dens plass i det økonomiske systemet, og økonomifunksjonens rolle og plass i bedriften.
• har kunnskaper om ulike kostnads- og inntektsbegreper, og om fornuftige pris- og kostnadsbeslutninger bedrifter bør ta på ulike markeder
• har kunnskaper om ulike prinsipper for produktkalkulasjon, enkle driftsregnskap, og enkle analyser av optimale produktvalg i situasjoner med begrenset ressurstilgang
• har kunnskaper om kostnads-, resultat og volumanalyser
• har kunnskaper om hvordan man identifiserer beslutningsrelevante kostnader og inntekter og hvordan beslutningsproblemer løse

Ferdigheter

Studentene kan:

• forklare sentrale begreper og redegjøre for viktige verktøy som brukes i analyser av bedriftsøkonomiske problemstillinger
• stille kritiske spørsmål til sentrale forutsetninger og antagelser innen det bedriftsøkonomiske fagområdet, og reflektere over dette
• fordele kostnader fra art via kostnadssted/aktivitet til kalkyleobjekt
• gjøre rede for de grunnleggende forutsetningene for og svakhetene ved de tradisjonelle kalkulasjonsmetodene
• gjøre rede for tankegangen ved normalkostkalkulasjon og formålet med driftsregnskap basert på normalkost, og utarbeide normalkostregnskap

Studenten kan:

• anvende tilegnede kunnskaper i analyser og diskusjoner av bedriftsøkonomiske problemstillinger, og skille mellom relevant og irrelevant informasjon
• gi skriftlige svar på spørsmål knyttet til bedriftsøkonomisk analyse som gjør at leserne forstår anvendt fremgangsmåte og svaret som fremkommer

Det undervises i plenumsforelesninger. Oppgaveløsing under veiledning av studentassistenter. Som en del av kurset inngår et større prosjektarbeid i gruppe. Stemplet og signert eksamenscase kan brukes som hjelpemiddel til eksamen, og er en forutsetning for å kunne besvare eksamen på en tilfredsstillende måte. Eksamenscaset gjelder bare ordinær eksamen og utsatt eksamen samme år.

Foot problems account for a considerable part of a prosthetist/orthotist's clinical day-to-day work. Incorrect loading of the foot, diabetes and rheumatic diseases can lead to foot complications. The module focuses on technical orthopaedic solutions for people in need of specially adapted footwear and foot orthoses. By adapting insoles, foot orthoses and orthopaedic footwear, the prosthetist/orthotist makes an important contribution to preventing strain injuries. The module also deals with functional examination of the foot and the biomechanical and psychosocial consequences of foot problems. It also covers prostheses/orthoses for persons with congenital deformities.

The student must have passed the first year of the programme.

After completing the module, the student is expected to have achieved the following learning outcomes defined in terms of knowledge, skills and general competence:

Knowledge

The student

• has knowledge of foot disorders and any consequences for the design of orthopaedic footwear and foot orthoses
• has knowledge of the biomechanical theory applied when designing footwear and foot orthoses
• is capable of describing parts of shoes and explaining production processes relevant to footwear and foot orthoses
• has knowledge of orthoses and prosthetics for persons with congenital deformities of the lower limbs

Skills

The student is capable of

• solving clinical problems and developing a follow-up plan within the category footwear and foot orthoses based on the individual needs of each user
• carrying out, with some supervision, clinical processes that form part of the follow-up plan for users who need footwear and foot orthoses
• conducting a gait analysis, identifying biomechanical issues and using this information in orthosis treatment
• using outcome measures relating to footwear and foot orthosis users
• using ICF to explain how foot problems affect a person
• using pressure measurement equipment and using the results in the choice and assessment of orthoses
• using relevant research to analyse topics relating to footwear and foot orthoses
• with some supervision, preparing work descriptions and carrying out technical procedures used in the production of footwear and foot orthoses
• reflecting on clinical and technical solutions, documenting clinical work in patient records and communicating this orally

General competence

The student is capable of

• working independently and cooperating with users and other professions in the field of footwear and foot orthoses
• discussing the need for professional guidelines
• reflecting on how communication should be adapted to different age groups and levels of functioning
• reflecting on the population's knowledge of own health and the consequences for guidance and information

The work and teaching methods used vary between seminars, a clinical and technical module, lectures, digital resources, student cooperation and self-study.

The following coursework requirements must be met before the student can take the exam:

• clinical and technical module, see the `Skills training- section in the general part of the programme description
• minimum attendance of 80 % at seminars

Exam form: Individual home exam over five days

Scope: 3,800-4,200 words.
