  • Introduction

    Emnet tar opp bibliotekarprofesjonens rolle og samfunnsoppdrag i et historisk og aktuelt perspektiv, og legger vekt på utfordringer og muligheter for biblioteksektoren innenfor en skiftende teknologisk, økonomisk, politisk og regulativ kontekst.

    After completing this course, the student has the following learning outcomes, defined as knowledge, skills and general competence:

    Knowledge

    The student

    • have initial knowledge of research and development work within the subject area
    • has knowledge of relevant processes and methods related to installation as an artistic expression
    • has knowledge of dissemination work in art institutions
    • have knowledge of ethical challenges affecting the field

    Skills

    The student

    • can disseminate and curate artistic work
    • can present art- and dissemination issues both orally and in writing
    • can apply relevant professional tools, techniques and forms of expression when dealing with artistic and theoretical issues

    • has knowledge of ethical challenges affecting the professional area
    • can work testing and experimenting

  • Teaching and learning methods

    Project 1: Art, space and installation (individual work):

    • A work of installation art
    • A exhibition text (maximum 200 words)
    • An oral presentation

    Project 2: Dissemination of art in practice (group work):

    • A group report (the number of words depends on the project and will be specified in the project assignment).
    • An oral and visual group presentation.

    The coursework requirements are assessed as approved/not approved.

    In order to take the exam, the student's absence must not have exceeded 20%.

  • Course requirements

    The exam project is individual and comprises the following two interrelated parts

    1. A three-dimensional work of art

    2. An exhibition text (maximum 200 words)

    2. An academic text (1200 words +/- 10%)

    The exam counts for 100% of the grade given.

    The exam result can be appealed.

  • Assessment

    Grade: A-F

  • Permitted exam materials and equipment

    Two internal examiner. External sensor is used regularly.

  • Grading scale

    KD2000 Entrepreneurship in art and design.

  • Examiners

    Alle oppgavene blir vurdert av intern sensor. Et utvalg på 25 prosent av besvarelsene blir trukket ut for vurdering av ekstern sensor.

    Kandidater som ikke består ordinær eksamen, kan framstille seg til ny/utsatt eksamen.
