Important dates and weeks in the engineering and computer studies at the Faculty of Technology, Art and Design (TKD) in autumn 2024 and spring 2025 - semester plan:
Autumn 2024
- Weeks 31–32: New and postponed exams (for spring exams)
- 13 August: Opening ceremony
- 15 August: Ordinary start of classes for first-year students on bachelor's studies. No teaching after 1400.
- 16 August: Ordinary lessons. No teaching after 1400.
- 19 August: Ordinary classes start for second- and third-year students on bachelor's studies
- The master's programs have their own dates for the start of studies and teaching
- 1 September: Deadline for applications for exchange in the spring semester
- 6. September: Business day
- 27 September: Conference for elected students. Elected students are exempt from tuition.
- 15 November: Last day of classes
- Weeks 47–50: Ordinary exam period. No teaching.
- Merry Christmas!
Spring 2025
- 6 January: Ordinary start of classes
- 1 February: Deadline for applications for exchange in the autumn semester
- Week 8: Study week
- Week 8 – 9: New and postponed exam (for autumn subjects)
- 25 April: Last day of classes for third-year students
- 16 May: Last day of classes
- 23 May: Submission deadline for bachelor's and master's theses
- Week 21-24: Ordinary exam period. No teaching.
