Get ready for a new semester

There are a few things you must keep in mind to get started with the new semester at OsloMet. For example, have you registered for the semester? Only then will you get access to your personal timetable.

Semester registration

You must register and pay the semester fee each semester to retain your right to study, still have access to systems, have a valid student ID and be able to apply for a loan from Lånekassen.

After you have registered for the semester in Studentweb, you can see:

  • Your personal timetable by logging in at student.oslomet.no and in Outlook
  • Your subjects and your syllabus lists in Canvas
  • Your exams in Studentweb

Check your timetable

You will find your personal timetable at student.oslomet.no and in Outlook after you have registered for the semester. Is your course divided into classes and groups? Then the faculty must have added you to these for you to be able to see the timetable.

Do you need to find the room in which you will have classes? In the timetable, under "Finn room", there is a link to Mazemap with a room map.
