Checklist for exchange
-
1. Guidance
Most students will be invited to attend a guidance session where you will be provided with more details and information about the next steps you need to take to secure your exchange period at the partner university OsloMet considers you qualified for. During your guidance session you will get more details about how to apply for the partner university, which documents are needed, the cost of tuition (if any) and how you can find relevant courses.
-
2. Prepare and submit your application to the partner university
During this phase, you will need to start collecting the necessary documents, finding courses, and complete the application for the partner university within their deadline. If you have any questions, please contact your international coordinator.
-
3. Complete and sign a Learning Agreement
The Learning Agreement is an agreement between you and OsloMet describing the content and scope of the plan for your studies abroad. It also confirms that your study period abroad will be accepted as part of your degree at OsloMet, if completed according to the agreement. You will need to consult with the International Coordinator at your study programme to find relevant courses that can replace the courses you would normally have taken at OsloMet.
