Course history

Introduction

After completing the course, the student is expected to have achieved the following learning outcomes defined in terms of knowledge, skills and competence:

Knowledge

The student

  • has in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology and surgical methods
  • has in-depth knowledge of technological opportunities and limitations relating to surgical examinations and/or treatment
  • has in-depth knowledge of the consequences of anaesthesia on surgical examinations and/or treatment
  • has in-depth knowledge of patient groups where special requirements apply to the choice of surgical methods
  • has advanced knowledge of theories and methods in infection medicine

Skills

The student

  • is capable of analysing and taking a critical approach to existing theories and methods in surgical examinations and/or treatment and infection medicine
  • is capable of independent work on theoretical problem-solving relating to surgical examinations and/or treatment and infection medicine

Competence

The student

  • is capable of analysing relevant academic, professional and research ethical issues in theatre nursing based on relevant discipline knowledge, research, experience and patient knowledge
  • is capable of applying knowledge of infection medicine to administer surgical examinations and/or treatment in a professionally sound manner

Content

Det legges opp til stor grad av studentaktiv læring. Studentene arbeider på følgende måter:

  • Seminarer og forelesninger i plenum - faste lærere og aktuelle gjesteforelesere.
  • Undervisning i grupper med gjennomgang av praktiske oppgaver.
  • Gruppearbeid med oppgavegjennomgang i plenum.
  • Individuell oppgaveløsning med tilbakemelding.
  • Hospiteringsperiode i et regionalt mediehus.

Supervised individual written exam, 6 hours

Grade scale A-F.

Permitted exam materials and equipment

All answer papers are assessed by two examiners, one of whom must be external.

Grading scale

  • Preoperative assessment, premedication, anaesthetics, methods and complications
  • Microbiology and infection medicine:
    • Pathogenic microorganisms, normal flora
    • Development of resistance
    • Hospital infections in general and postoperative wound infections in particular
    • Collecting and transporting microbiological samples
    • Antimicrobial agents used against pathogenic microorganisms

  • sjangrene bildereportasje og portrett
  • flermedial fortellerteknikk og presentasjon
  • journalistikkens etiske grenser for fotografisk og verbal magasinjournalistikk
  • redaksjonelle funksjoner i regionale mediehus

Ferdigheter

Studenten

  • behersker idé - og planarbeid for reportasje og portrett
  • kan fotografere og redigere mindre journalistiske reportasjer og videoportrett
  • kan arbeide med verbaltekst og lyd
  • behersker presentasjonsformer
  • kan reflektere over metodiske, fortellermessige og etiske trekk ved flermediale produksjoner.
  • kan arbeide og samarbeide i redaksjon som fotojournalist

Generell kompetanse

Studenten har

  • utviklet et sjangerrepertoar, og dermed evne til både å skille mellom sjangre, respektere sjangre, og å utfordre sjangergrenser
  • utviklet selvstendighet i idearbeid, research og planlegging av kompleks fotojournalistisk produksjon
  • evnen til effektiv fotojournalistisk kommunikasjon
  • forståelse for journalistisk yrkesetikk
  • evner til samarbeid og mellommenneskelig kommunikasjon i en journalistisk kontekst
