Content
Project 1: Art, space and installation.Individual work: The project emphasises the relationship between concept, context and material. The student will develop critical awareness of their own artistic expression. The practical-aesthetic elements play a key role in this project. The project includes a basic introduction to materials and environmental issues.
Project 2: Dissemination of contemporary art to specific target groups. Independent preparatory teaching sessions. Group work: The project focuses on dissemination of contemporary art. In this project, the students will work on dissemination in relation to specific target groups. The project includes one week of practical training.

Course requirements
Project 1: Art, space and installation (individual work):
• A practical-aesthetic work
• A written, reflective text (around 1,200 words).
Project 2: Dissemination of contemporary art to specific target groups (group work):
• Practical group work relating to the dissemination of contemporary art.
• Preparation of a special communication design for the practical training week.
• A group report (the number of words depends on the project and will be specified in the assignment text for the coursework requirement).
• An oral and visual group presentation
There is a minimum attendance requirement of 80% for compulsory teaching activities.
The coursework requirements are assessed as approved/not approved.
Assessment
The exam project is individual and comprises the following three interrelated parts
1. A practical-aesthetic work
2. A dissemination text (around 200 words)
3. An academic text (around 3,000 words)
The exam result can be appealed.
Permitted exam materials and equipment
All aids are permitted, as long as the rules for source referencing are complied with.
Grading scale
Grade: A-F
Examiners
Two internal examiners. The course may be selected for grading by external examiners.
