Introduction
The course is based on lectures, self-study and study groups/group work.
Required preliminary courses
Participants will be asked to give presentations of their projects, their experiences from action research and practice research. The presentations will form the basis for discussions where active participation will be expected, both in presenting one's own ideas and providing feedback on the ideas of others. The presentations must be put into writing (1-2 pages) and distributed to the teachers and other course participants by the stipulated deadline.
Course attendance (80%) in lectures and group sessions (15 hours).
Present preliminary paper (1-2 pages) and deliver paper for assessment.
Learning outcomes
All examination support material is allowed as long as source reference and quotation technique requirements are applied.

Permitted exam materials and equipment
The following coursework requirements must have been approved in order for the student to take the exam:
- Coursework 1: One written reflection paper to be handed in prior to lecture 1. The paper must be 2-3 pages. Further details concerning this coursework will be given prior to lecture 1.
- Coursework 2: Individual literature analysis presented in class. The presentation must be max 15 minutes, in addition be opponent on 2 literature analysis presentations given by other students as coursework. Further details concerning this coursework will be given in lecture 1.
- Coursework 3: Group assignment: The student must in groups of 2-3 students’ report on a structured literature search. Requirements and guidance for this coursework will be given in lecture 1.
- Coursework 4: Group assignment: The students must in groups of 2-3 students’ hand in an literature analysis based on the search conducted in coursework 3. Requirements for this coursework will be given in lecture 1.
All required coursework must be completed and approved by the given deadline in order for the student to take the exam. If the coursework requirement has not been approved, the student will be given one opportunity to submit an improved version by the given deadline.
Grading scale
The exam in the course is an essay. The essay is written individually. The essay must have a scope of 5000 words (+ - 10 percent).
In the essay the students are expected to discuss recent literature on entrepreneurship and innovation theory in relation to their own experiences with venture creation and development. Further details concerning the details for the essay topic/problem will be given in lecture 1.
Font and font size: Arial or Calibri, 12 points. Line spacing 1,5.
Students awarded a fail grade are given one opportunity to submit an improved version of the essay.
Examiners
I bacheloremnet skal studentene erfare at studieopphold ved institusjoner utenfor Norge gir utvidet innsikt i og handlingsrepertoar for pedagogisk arbeid med barn, personale og foreldre med ulik bakgrunn og ulike forutsetninger. Studieoppholdet byr på muligheter for økt bevisstgjøring og handlingskompetanse i forhold til interkulturell kommunikasjon, etisk refleksjon og flerkulturell pedagogikk. Oppholdet bidrar til personlig og faglig bevisstgjøring om egne verdier og eget pedagogisk ståsted i forhold til syn på barn, lek, læring og voksen-barn relasjoner.
Perioden stiller høye krav til selvstendighet og evne til å søke veiledning og innhente kunnskap og erfaringer fra ulike kilder. I arbeidet med bacheloroppgaven skal studentene bygge på kunnskaper fra tidligere deler av studiet og fordype seg i et tema de ser som vesentlig for sitt framtidige arbeid som barnehagelærer. Det kreves godkjenning som utvekslingsstudent i tråd med OsloMets regelverk.
