  • Introduction

    Emnet gir en innføring i barns medier, barns mediebruk, og kultur- og litteraturformidling med barn opp til 12 år som målgruppe.;;

    Emnet tar opp barndommens vilkår i samtida, ved å fokusere på sammenhenger mellom barns mediebruk og kulturelle og sosiale;oppvekstsvilkår.

    I undervisningen vektlegges barnelitteratur i flere sjangre og publisert på ulike plattformer. Det legges opp til arbeid med lesestimulering, og hvordan folkebibliotekenes formidling av litteratur kan knyttes til aktiviteter i samarbeid med skole og barnehage.

    The course consists of a combination of lectures, group work, labs and homework.

  • Course requirements

    None.

  • Assessment

    Assessment of Web Development will be by two submissions - an individual reflection note (approx. 5 pages) and a group-based project (a practical work related to a set of web development tasks). The group must submit a report (between 5-10 pages) describing their work and documenting the outcomes. The topic of the project must be approved by the tutors. Font: Arial / Calibri. Size: 12 point. Line spacing: 1.5.

    The reflection note and the group report each account for 50% of the grade. The student must pass both parts to pass the course.

    Students awarded a fail grade are given one opportunity to submit an improved version for assessment. If the project work fail, the whole group need to sit the new examination.

  • Permitted exam materials and equipment

    All aids are permitted, as long as the rules for source referencing are complied with

  • Grading scale

    Letter grading A-F.

  • Examiners

    The exam papers are assessed by one internal and one external examiner. At least 25% of the exam papers will be assessed by two examiners. The grades awarded for the papers assessed by two examiners form the basis for determining the level for all the exam papers.
