Recycling funds go to student-inititated green actions
Have you noticed the yellow deposit-return boxes on campus? The surplus funds from the cans and bottles deposited in these boxes will provide funding for green initiatives for students at OsloMet.
OsloMet in collaboration with the company Infinitum (infinitum.no) are collecting bottles and cans with deposit-return labels in the yellow deposit bins around our campuses. This helps reduce the amount of plastic cans and bottles that can pollute our surroundings and the money collected goes to green initiatives for students!
You can now submit requests or suggestions for "Green stuff" initiatives through the Green Stuff- online form (nettskjema.no). The form is open until midnight 16 March, 2025, after which an informal jury will select 1-3 intitiatives. The initiatives will be launched and tested during the Autumn 2025 semester.
