Give input to TKD's strategic action plan
Students and staff are affected by the strategy work. Now you are invited to give your input to TKD's strategic action plan.
OsloMet adopted its strategy in December 2023 and will adopt its sub-strategies for education, research and development, and community improvements and cooperation on 18 June.
In the spring and autumn of 2024, the Faculty of Technology, Art and Design (TKD) will prepare its strategic action plan, which specifies how the faculty will work in line with the strategies.
The departments have given their input, and now all students and staff at TKD are invited to provide input on the first draft of the strategic action plan.
‘The students and staff are at the heart of everything we do at OsloMet,’ says dean Laurence Habib.
‘That is why it is important for us to get their views on how the faculty should develop. Because every time we decide to prioritize something, we have to do less of something else. It is therefore crucial that everyone participates in giving their opinion on what is important and what is less important.’
‘I strongly believe that dialogue around a strategy can be positive for everyone.’
Strategi square
At the strategy square on 15 May, the dean's office presents the first draft of the faculty's strategic action plan for 2025 -2029 and will be available on the stand to talk to all students and staff who have questions.
In the square, you also get the opportunity to use the red pen on the draft – digitally or on paper, and to discuss it with colleagues and fellow students.
What happens next?
- The input is summarized and made available together with the board papers for the faculty board meeting on 6 June.
- The first draft of the strategic action plan, as well as the input from the strategy square, will be discussed by the faculty board on 6 June.
- The second draft of the strategic action plan is sent for consultation at the faculty before the summer holidays with a deadline of 2 September.
- The faculty board discusses the second draft on 26 September.
- Strategic action plan for TKD 2025-2029 is adopted by the faculty board on 31 October 2024.
