About the study place

Politecnico di Milano is located in the Italian fashion capital Milan in Italy. This is a scientific and technological university that educates engineers, architects and designers.

Milan is known for fashion, architecture and culture and is an exciting city located about three hours away from the capital Rome. Milan is a vibrant city and the hometown of Leonardo Da Vinci. There is a lot to explore in this city and it is easy to get around the town by bus, tram and metro. You should definitely visit the Duomo di Milano which is an impressive building or take a trip to one of the world's most leading opera houses, La Scala. Visit the artificial lake Indoscalo where they have an amusement park and roller-skating rink, and you can even swim in the lake or just relax in the park. Milan is known for fashion and have the world's oldest shopping center and of course the city abounds with different shops. Enjoy pasta, pizza and ice cream like a true Italian and get memories for life in this great city.

The university focuses on quality and innovation in teaching and research. Knowing the world you are going to work in is important, and the university will prepare you for the challenges you will meet in the working life.

In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution.
