Forkunnskapskrav

The course is arranged as a part-time study session-based;during the spring. The online teaching will take place during week-ends and evenings. The physical teaching will take place over a week in Oslo.;

2/3 of the course will be organized as online tutoring and teaching with online material, individual and in groups. It is expected that the student practice, reflect, and experiment on their own. 1/3 of the course is organised as workshops and seminars.;

This type of learning process requires both cooperation with peers and the ability to shape their own training.

The student;is expected;- although no general attendance requirement applies to teaching activities - to mostly be present and be familiar with the content of the teaching. The course is highly process-oriented and based on the student’s own activity.;

Different forms of work and documentation;are used;in the course. Most of the work will take the form of workshops and seminars, with discussions and testing out ideas. The student take responsibility for organising;hers/his own practice.

Lectures and talks;will be linked;to theory. Advanced explorative training;will be linked;to the development of the student’s own expression and reflection.;

The teaching language is English.

Coursework requirements

The following coursework is compulsory and;must be approved;before the student can take the exam:;

  • delivery of a project description
  • ;delivery of a reading list (books and articles together 500 pages)
  • an written abstract discussing methodology and experience of art practice in relation to theory;(300 words)

Innhold

Studiet består av følgende hovedtemaer:

  • Organisasjonsperspektiver og utvikling av en lærende organisasjon
  • Personalarbeid og læringsprosesser
  • Utadrettet ledelse og forståelse av samfunnsoppdraget

Arbeids- og undervisningsformer

Arbeidsmåtene vil variere mellom forelesning og annen undervisning, seminarer og workshops, gruppearbeid og gruppeoppgaver, individuelle arbeidsoppgaver, veiledning og selvstudium. Det forventes at studentene er aktive i egne læringsprosesser mellom samlingene, og at de reflekterer over egen læring i en læringslogg. Deltakerne organiseres i læringsgrupper. Med utgangspunkt i det teoretiske begrepsapparatet studenten utvikler i løpet av studiet, skal gruppa gi mulighet til å styrke kollegiale refleksjoner og erfaringslæring knyttet til utviklingsarbeid i egen barnehage. Kommunikasjon med andre studenter og lærere mellom samlingene foregår via OsloMets digitale læringsplattform. Til innlevering og vurdering av arbeidskrav etter samlinger vil en benytte læringsplattformen Canvas. Informasjonsteknologi (IKT) inngår som integrert del av læringsaktivitetene i studiet.

Studiet er hovedsakelig samlingsbasert med noen nettbaserte elementer. Gjennomføringen av studiet vil være som følger:

  • En samling à to dager i starten av hvert semester med undervisning, organisert som heldagsseminarer.
  • En dag med nettverksmøte i læringsgrupper i midten av hvert semester. To prosessveiledere vil være tilstede.
  • Hvert semester avsluttes med en veiledningssamling bestående av to dager med to prosessveiledere.

Arbeidskrav og obligatoriske aktiviteter

This course explores the basics of business valuation. The objective of this course is to provide students with valuation methods from both a conceptual and practical framework. We will discuss the drivers of corporate value, cover financial analysis using data from the annual report, and build an integrated valuation model using discounted cash flow (DCF). We will also discuss alternatives to DCF valuation, comparables analysis and options.

Vurderingsuttrykk

By the end of this course, a successful learner should be able to:

  • Understand and be able to apply basic tools to company, using discounted cash flow models and other commonly used methods.
  • Upon review of a company¿s financial statements be able to prepare a basic valuation report.
