Innledning

Eksamen i emnet er en individuell muntlig eksamen med en tidsramme på ca. 30 minutter. Tidsrammen inkluderer eksaminasjon og vurdering med muntlig begrunnelse.

Det benyttes intern og ekstern sensor under muntlig eksamen.

Vurdering og eksamen

The exam consist of two parts, one group and one individual:

  1. A written group report (max. 2 members) on the overall process design and operation, (max. 3000 words); counting 50% of the grade.
  2. A individual report (max. 2000 words) on the rigorous design of a selected unit operation process; counting 50% of the grade.

Both parts of the exam must be awarded a pass grade in order for the student to pass the course.

In the event of failed or valid absence of exam, the postponed exam will be given as either an oral or written examination.

Part one and part two can be appealed.

All aids permitted.

Vurderingsuttrykk

A grade scale with grades from A to E for pass (with A being the highest grade and E being the lowest pass grade) and F for fail is used in connection with the final assessment.
