LSSP6300 Endring og forbedringsarbeid Emneplan

Emne 3, Endring og forbedringsarbeid, retter oppmerksomheten mot grunnleggende kunnskaper og ferdigheter for å identifisere, planlegge og gjennomføre endringsarbeid og organisasjonsutvikling med henblikk på forebygging og tidlig innsats, barn og unge med særlige behov og barn og unge med lavt læringsutbytte. Sentralt er også organisasjonskunnskap og kollektive endringsprosesser innrammet av prinsipper for aksjonsforskning og innovasjon.

This course advances the student's understanding of the strategy process, content and context. The purpose is to develop individuals that can hold staff positions or consultants within the areas of strategic analysis, planning and strategy process design. Knowledge and skills obtained in this course will be practical and useful in organizations where strategy implementation and organizational change is a part of the challenge.

Language of instruction is English.

Lectures and discussions in plenary sessions, group work and other forms of learning methods will be used.

The following coursework requirements must have been approved in order for the student to take the exam:

• Coursework 1: A portfolio which includes hand-ins and presentations. Individual participation is a part of the portfolio evaluation. Specification of the portfolio:
  • Group presentations of two cases and/or two journal articles
  • Group projects during the semester: max 20 pages
  • Individual process reflection: max 3 pages
  • Individual participation in discussions

The purpose of the coursework is to provide good insight and abilities to work with various approaches to strategic analysis. 

All required coursework must be completed and approved by the given deadline in order for the student to take the exam. 

The exam in the course is a supervised exam of 4 hours.
