  • Required preliminary courses

A problem-based learning approach is used in the course, organised as group work and supported by lectures and project tutoring. The main focus is on defining, researching and conceptualising an entrepreneurial project. Students will be introduced to theories and methods of relevance to the course's scope, and as preparation for active participation in the course's problem-based learning methods, theory and practice. The group work includes knowledge sharing, collective decision-making, academic discussions, action coordination and mutual critical feedback. Student groups will work in close cooperation with their supervisor(s) and with external partners, e.g. businesses or other project Groups.

Entrepreneurial projects that require an agreement or contract

Projects that are not part of a research project and not industry-related do not normally require a contract. As a rule, students will be considered the owner of the results of their contributions to research projects and project assignments, unless otherwise agreed. If exceptional results are achieved, necessary agreements can be set up as the project progresses.

However, when projects are offered in collaboration with external enterprises and/or are connected to research projects, the student's supervisor is responsible for establishing the necessary agreements between OsloMet, the student and the project partners.

OsloMet has developed templates in English for students and project partners:
