Introduction
The following must have been approved in order for the student to take the exam:
- Individual subject note in accordance with set criteria, 1000 words (+/- 10 %) The coursework will be subject to assessment.
- Two practical demonstrations: Carrying out an examination and/or treatment in practice, justifying clinical choices and reflecting on one's own professional practice, as well as discussing their choices with the practical training supervisor and the contact lecturer and possibly fellow students. The first demonstration is prior to the midway assessment. The second within the last two weeks of the practical training period. Both with a duration of up to two hours.
Recommended preliminary courses
For students on the bachelor's programme: DTV3300: Passed DTV1000 Drama and Theatre or equivalent.
Required preliminary courses
Assessment of practical training: The assessment is based on the learning outcomes for the course and the continuous assessment that students are subject to throughout the practical training period.
The student’s practical training can only be assessed if their attendance is sufficiently high (90%). For more information, see the general part of the programme description about practical training assessment.
Resit assessment: Students who fail a period of practical training normally have to retake the whole practical training period.

Content
The programme is divided into three main areas where great importance is placed on developing the students' artistic and academic professionalism in storytelling. These areas are as follows:
- practising story-telling techniques (12 credits)
- performance (12 credits)
- theory (6 credits)
Compulsory work assignments are attached to each of the areas.

Course requirements
All coursework requirements and compulsory attendance must be met and assessed to be approved before the students can prepare for the exam.
Coursework requirements
- Planning, implementation and presentation of 10 hours oral storytelling practice, carried out individually
- eight informal oral storytelling sessions in the local area and one brief log presented through a digital medium.
- three oral storytelling storytelling performances in a public context
- prepare a written note discussing their own experience, as well as observation of storytellers against theory
The coursework requirements are considered approved / not approved. Not approved cousework requirements can be improved and prepared for reconsideration.
Compulsory attendance in teaching:
Students can have no more than 20% absence in teaching and supervision situations where there is a requirement for attendance. including:
five storytelling performances with professional storytellers
skills training in oral storytelling
Oral storytelling performances with group work

Assessment
One representative of the clinical training establishment and one representative of the university. The final decision on whether to award a pass or fail grade is made by the university.
Permitted exam materials and equipment
All aids are permitted, as long as the rules for source referencing are complied With.

Grade scale A-F.
Examiners
Exam part 1) Assessed by two internal examiners. External examiners are used regularly. Exam part 2) Assessed by one internal and one external examiner
Admission requirements
For students taking the course as an individual course: The admission requirements are the Higher Education Entrance Qualification and a motivation letter, which should be attached to the application. The motivation letter should be 400-500 words. The student should describe his/her background and how they would apply the content of their academic field to their future working life, and why this academic field is suitable for the student. The motivation letter is assessed on the basis of:
- Relevance - how does the applicant envisage the use of the subject in their working life?
- Necessity - why is it important for the applicant to include this subject in his/her portfolio?
Applicants can also be admitted on the basis of prior learning and work experience. Applications for admission must document the Higher Education Entrance Qualification.
