Simulation and supervised practical training.

The following coursework requirements must be met before a student can receive an assessment for the course:

  • The student’s specification of learning outcomes for the course
  • The student must submit at least one written assessment per month
  • Teaching/guidance of children and their caregivers
  • Teaching/guidance of fellow students and/or other health personnel

  • Different anaesthetics
  • Relevant anaesthesiology and intensive and critical care drugs
  • Different techniques and types of anaesthesia
  • Surgical procedures and examinations in different specialties
  • Expansive processes in the central nervous system and neurosurgery
  • Relevant topics from cardiology
  • Anaesthesiology in relation to special patient groups and different surgical procedures and examinations and/or treatment
  • Traumatology

Teaching and learning methods

Pass/Fail.

Course requirements

The summative assessment is carried out by a representative of the practical training establishment and a representative of the university. The final decision on whether to award a pass or fail grade is made by the university.
