Simulation and supervised practical training.

The following coursework requirements must be met before a student can receive an assessment for the course:
- The student’s specification of learning outcomes for the course
- The student must submit at least one written assessment per month
- Teaching/guidance of children and their caregivers
- Teaching/guidance of fellow students and/or other health personnel

- Different anaesthetics
- Relevant anaesthesiology and intensive and critical care drugs
- Different techniques and types of anaesthesia
- Surgical procedures and examinations in different specialties
- Expansive processes in the central nervous system and neurosurgery
- Relevant topics from cardiology
- Anaesthesiology in relation to special patient groups and different surgical procedures and examinations and/or treatment

Course requirements
The summative assessment is carried out by a representative of the practical training establishment and a representative of the university. The final decision on whether to award a pass or fail grade is made by the university.
