This talk examines two critical but often overlooked dimensions of cybersecurity
First, as IT and operational technology (OT) converge on the shop floor, legacy security systems struggle to address rapidly evolving production environments; we highlight current challenges and propose new approaches to ensure robust protection of modern manufacturing processes.
Second, with employees implicated in the majority of attacks—ranging from CEO fraud and data theft to ransomware—the human factor remains a major attack vector.
Which methods can effectively bridge the existing gap between “security awareness” and “secure behavior” among employees? How can threats be made tangible? How can companies succeed in developing an appropriate security culture?
We discuss how to foster sustainable behavioral change and significantly strengthen organizational resilience.
