    Motivation

I am a person who has been a union representative and the student council and am very committed to being a voice for those who do not always feel they can or dare to give their opinion and would like to make a difference

  • Zhino Beigzadehbabamiri. Issues: learning environment, campus development and career guidance

    Study programme and campus

    Product Design, Kjeller

    Motivation

Having background experience from political activities gave me inspiration to continue in the direction of standing up for gender equality and speaking out when needed. Represent students from the same line of study as myself so that our rights are presented in the same way as everyone else in OsloMet.

  • Shruthi Chandrakumar. Issues: quality of education, career guidance and adaptation of studies

    Study programme and campus

    Biotechnology and Applied Chemistry, Pilestredet

    Motivation

I have received a course in organization and leadership that was offered to selected young people in Akershus. I want to apply this knowledge to make student life easier and more pleasant for me and my fellow students, so that we can get the best out of our study time.

  • Tinius Holst. Issues: equality and diversity, quality of education and sustainability

    Study programme and campus

Bachelor in Applied Computer Technology, Pilestredet

    Motivation

Ever since I was little, my interest in learning about the society we are a part of has always engaged me. Considering all the different people we have in our society. How the small and large traits each individual has that shape our entire society in a whole, this gives me involvement.

  • Cinta Asmara Hand Badge. Issues: equality and diversity, adaptation of studies and sustainability

    Study programme and campus

    Art in society, Pilestredet

    Motivasjon

  • Isak Utigard Moe. Issues: sustainability, equality and diversity and quality of education

    Study programme and campus

Bachelor Programme in Art and Design, Pilestredet

    Motivation

I am a union representative, and with being a union representative, I have been in a position to help and facilitate my own class. I wanted to be a union representative to ensure that the class stays socially engaged. I want to be there for the people, and ensure an improved experience. I want the same here.

  • Eivind Hauge Omtveit. Issues: quality of education, adaptation of studies and online teaching

    Study programme and campus

Bachelor in Applied Computer Technology, Pilestredet

    Motivation

Academia is a hell of square rules students have to go through, I want those who come after me to have a better time in their journey through education. It's no worse than that.

  • Ruqiya Hussain Osman. Issues: quality of education, learning environment and adaptation of studies

    Study programme and campus

    Biotechnology and Applied Chemistry, Pilestredet

    Motivation

The learning environment, quality of education and facilitation are my most important issues. As a student assistant and union representative, I have gained insight into what works and what can be improved. I am committed, curious and not afraid to speak up when something needs to change.

  • Denas Rakauskas. Issues: quality of education, learning environment, equality and diversity

    Study programme and campus

Bachelor Programme in Art and Design, Pilestredet

    Motivation

I am motivated by a desire for the best possible study day. Education must be relevant and precise, and lecturers must be able to provide enough focus for our future. We will have a positive learning environment that lifts everyone up. It must be inclusive and facilitated so that everyone has equal opportunities. Equality and freedom!

  • Badri Håkon Soudani. Issues: food at campus, student associations and the realization of the Student House in Tullinkvartalet

    Study and campus

Bachelor's Programme in Mechanical Engineering, Pilestredet

    Motivation

I myself am a board member of OMS and I know well the challenges of managing a student association with limited funds. Student life does not only consist of cramming and lectures, but also socializing. Therefore, the financial support to the associations must be increased so that we can create an even broader offer

  • Ida Cecilie Brænde Svendsen. Issues: adaptation of studies, on-campus health services and student associations

    Study programme and campus

Bachelor's Programme in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Medical technology, Pilestredet

    Motivation

For me, facilitation is a matter close to my heart, as I have seen the negative effect of poor facilitation myself. OsloMet does a far too poor job of facilitating both lectures and exams for students with disabilities.

  • Sean Fillip Berg Williams. Issues: quality of education and learning environment

    Study programme and campus

Bachelor's Programme in Software Engineering, Pilestredet

    Motivation

I have noticed that I got frustrated with various things the first year and decided that I want to do something about it, or at least help to try. I think it can be a good experience and get more insight into what kind of impact is possible to have.
