YFHO3100 Vocational in-depth subject in a school, work and community perspective Course description

Emnet omhandler forskningsbasert fordypning i aktuelle problemstillinger knyttet til kunnskap om, og utvikling av eget fagområde i et nasjonalt og internasjonalt perspektiv. Emnet setter yrkesutøvelsen inn i en bred organisasjonsmessig kontekst. Det vektlegges hvordan læreren kan utdanne og danne yrkesutøveren til å møte samfunnet og yrkenes krav, og kunne bidra til utvikling av samfunnsansvar og demokratiforståelse. Det fokuseres også på hvordan lærer og yrkesutøver skal kunne både møte og skape endring/forbedring. I emnet inngår også analyse av fremtidens yrkesutøvelse, kompetanse- og opplæringsbehov.

For å kunne gå opp til eksamen på emnet, må studentene ha bestått alle tidligere emner i yrkesfaglærerutdanningen.

In macroeconomics, students try to understand the relationships between aggregate economic variables such as inflation, unemployment, income and production and why they vary. In this course, students will learn how economic policy such as monetary and fiscal policy can influence the macroeconomic situation. The course builds on Macroeconomics I.

Knowledge

The student has in-depth knowledge of

• models that can be used to analyse economic policy
• how cyclical fluctuations arise and how they can be counteracted through policy
• how institutions can influence policies
• financial crises
• open economy, monetary unions

Skills

The student is capable of

• explaining important relationships between macroeconomic variables
• using models to analyse macroeconomic issues
• analysing how macroeconomic policy can influence economic variables such as activity and inflation
• assessing current economic policy
