Introduction

Language of instruction: Norwegian

The practical training in a dental technology enterprise should primarily contribute to the students developing their skills in relation to production procedures and theoretical principles in a real-life working situation. Dialogues about different solution alternatives and forms of production are key. The student will participate as much as possible in the professional community and the day-to-day production of tooth replacements. An authorised dental technician at the enterprise will be the practical training supervisor and have overall responsibility for following up the student.

Clinical practical training focuses on the complexity of clinical dental treatment, the diversity of patients and on safeguarding their needs and right. Emphasis is placed on professional communication and a responsible cooperation between dental health professionals.

Breakdown of credits: Theory 5 credits and skills training 25 credits.

Required preliminary courses

Deltakelse i læringsaktiviteter:

80 % deltakelse i obligatoriske læringsaktiviteter spesifisert i emnets undervisningsplan
