Programme description

  • Introduction

    Group home exam

    • In groups of up to seven students.
    • The exam period extends throughout the course.
    • Scope of 1,500 words (+/- 10%).

    Resit exam: A student who fails the ordinary exam can submit a reworked version once as a resit.

    The assignment can be given in English or Scandinavian language. The individual group must deliver in the same language.

  • Required preliminary courses

    All aids are permitted, as long as the rules for source referencing are complied with.

  • Learning outcomes

    Pass/fail. One overall grade is awarded for the whole group.

  • Teaching and learning methods

    One external and one internal examiner will assess at least 10% of the exam papers. The remaining papers will be assessed by two internal examiners. The external examiner’s assessment should benefit all the students.;

  • Course requirements

    The course overlaps 100% with SYK2820A and SYK2820B.

  • Assessment

    Supervised individual written exam

    • 2 hours
    • Multiple choice assignment

    The assignment can be given in English or Norwegian language.

  • Permitted exam materials and equipment

    None.

  • Grading scale

    Pass/fail.

  • Examiners

    One internal and one external examiner will check the questions, and the internal examiner will check the answer papers.

  • Overlapping courses

    The course overlaps 100% with SYK2810A and SYK2810B.
