STKD6300 Introduction to Information & Network Security I Course description

This course will introduce the concepts of information and network security. We will discuss in detail security services such as confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, nonrepudiation and access control. Students will be introduced to common threats and attacks to systems and networks whether they are intentional or unintentional. Lastly, we will discuss mitigations to common threats and attacks and how we can defend against them.

No additional requirements to the general requirements for the international summer school.

After completing this course the student should have the following learning outcome:

The course is structured to provide lectures and discussions. Real-world vulnerabilities and exploits will be discussed and shown how they apply to us in our day to day lives.

Project-examination. One individual 2,000 to 4,000 word term paper.

Exams can be appealed.

No support material is permitted in the exams.

The final assessment, the group project, will be graded on a grading scale from A to E (A is the highest grade and E the lowest) and F for fail.

Lesing og skriving er grunnleggjande ferdigheiter som inngår i ein meir omfattande kompetanse uttrykt gjennom omgrepet literacy. Literacy inkluderer ferdigheiter som "to identify, to understand, to interpret, to create and to communicate" (St. meld. 030, 2003-2004, s. 33). Utvikling av literacy handlar blant anna om å setje elevane i stand til å lese, forstå og tolke og til sjølv å produsere eit bredt spekter av tekstar i ulike medium; skriftleg, munnleg og digitalt.

Lesing og skriving er både norskfaglege og fleirfaglege kompetansar. Studiet Lesing og skriving som grunnleggjande ferdigheit, 1-7, nivå 2, legg vekt på samanhengen mellom delkompetansar, med hovudvekt på lesing og skriving. Studiet er forankra i nasjonale retningslinjer for grunnskolelærarutdanning 1.-7.trinn og i læreplanverket for grunnopplæringa, Kunnskapsløftet (LK06). Studiet tar sikte på å kvalifisere til arbeid med grunnleggjande ferdigheiter i lesing og skriving som kommunikativ kompetanse og som reiskap for læring og utvikling. I studiet inngår praktisk arbeid med gjeldande læreplanar med vekt på å identifisere korleis ein kan arbeide med lesing og skriving for å fremje elevane sin kompetanse i fleire fag.

Det fleirkulturelle perspektivet er gjennomgåande i studiet. Det gjeld blant anna drøfting av ulike måtar å legge til rette for lese- og skrivesituasjonar i og på tvers av fag for alle elevar; majoritetsspråklege og minoritetsspråklege. Arbeidet med digitale ferdigheiter er òg sentralt i samanheng med å utvikle elevane sine grunnleggjande ferdigheiter i lesing og skriving. IKT er derfor integrert i studiet, både som eit eige emne, som reiskap i læringsprosessen til den einskilde student, i erfaringsdeling og diskusjon knytt til faglege emne, og i utforming av læringsaktivitetar for elevane.

Lesing og skriving som grunnleggjande ferdigheit 2, trinn 1-7 (30 studiepoeng) består av to emne á 15 studiepoeng. Emne 2 bygger på undervisinga i emne 1. Ein kan bygge vidare til 60 studiepoeng gjennom studiet Lesing og skriving som grunnleggjande ferdigheit 1, trinn 1-7, som òg består av to emne á 15 studiepoeng. 

Studiet er utvikla på oppdrag frå Kunnskapsdepartementet, med bakgrunn i Kompetanse for kvalitet - strategi for etter- og vidareutdanning 2016 - 2025. Målgruppe for studiet er lærarar med pedagogisk bakgrunn i samsvar med krava i rammeplanane for lærarutdanningane og som er tilsette i skolen i studieperioden.
