Learning outcomes
The subject consists of seminars, lectures and independent studies. The pedagogical approach involves active participation in seminars/lectures, and commenting on presentations from the other students.;

Avsluttende vurdering
Eksamen gjennomføres i høstsemesteret.
Avsluttende vurdering er en individuell, skriftlig eksamen under tilsyn (seks timer).
Ny/utsatt eksamen
Ny og utsatt eksamen gjennomføres som ved ordinær eksamen.

Examiners
The target gourp for this course are doctoral students within the spcialization;Information, Library and Archival Studies;in the PhD program in Social Sciences at OsloMet. The course will also be open to students admitted to other PhD programs who wish to study the field in depth.

- Internal candidates use;Studentweb;and sign up themselves, or contact the PhD administration.
Required attachments for the application:
- External applicants must submit a summary of about one A4 page with information about their own PhD project and why this topic is considered relevant for their own project. The summary is uploaded to the Søknadsweb.
- Internal candidates send the summary to the PhD administration.
The maximum number of course participants is 15. ;

Target group and admission
The target group for the course are candidates from the PhD programme in Social Work and Social Policy, but it will also be open to PhD students on other programs who wish to study the field in depth.
Internal candidates register the course in their Studentweb and send a summary, maximum one page, of their project to the PhD administration.
External candidates apply through the Søknadsweb. The following documentation must be enclosed:
- Confirmation on admission to a PhD program
- Summary of your research proposal (approx.one page) and how this PhD course will be relevant for your research project
