PSYK3900 Bachelor Thesis Course description

All aids are permitted, as long as the rules for source referencing are followed.

Pass/fail.

Two internal examiners will be used. External examiner is used regularly.

The course has 5 ECTS of overlapping content towards STKD6610 Technology and Society,;STKD6600 Technology and Society I, PSYK1070, BIOB1070 Technology and Society I, ERGOB1070 Technology and Society I, FYB1070 Technology and Society I, RAB1070 Technology and Society I, SYKK1070 Technology and Society I, SYKP1070 Technology and Society I, TAB1070 Technology and Society I, ORI1070 Technology and Society I, PMED1070 Technology and Society I, FARB1070 Technology and Society I

The following must have been approved in order for the student to submit the bachelor’s thesis.

• Prepare and get approved an outline for the bachelor’s thesis
• Participate in organised supervision (80%)

Individual bachelor’s thesis with a maximum scope of 8,000 words

On application, students may be permitted to write the thesis in pairs. This is on the condition that they have collected the data together and use these in the thesis. If the bachelor’s thesis mentions information about people and/or their behavior, OsloMet and the Department for Behavioral Sciences' current rules for privacy and consent must be observed.

All aids are permitted, as long as the rules for source referencing are complied with.

Grade scale A-F

One internal and one external examiner.
