Teaching and learning methods
Teaching alternates between lectures with interaction, student presentations, practical exercises, case discussions, and both individual and group reflection, supplemented by digital resources. The learning activities emphasize extensive dialogue and collaboration, and require physical and active participation.
The teaching takes place with in-person attendance on campus.
-
Course requirements
To be eligible to take the exam, the student must have the following approved coursework:
- Coursework 1: Individual submission of 500 words (+/- 10%)
- Coursework 2: Individual submission of 500 words (+/- 10%)
- Coursework 3: Individual submission of 500 words (+/- 10%)
The coursework will be related to experiences and activities that take place during the teaching of the course. For this reason, it is expected to participate in the lectures, and the course therefore requires physical attendance on campus. If a student does not participate sufficiently in the lectures to be able to complete the coursework requirements, no alternative coursework will be provided.
The purpose of the coursework is for the student to reflect on academic phenomena and relate these to their own experiences and practice. The reason why attendance is compulsory is that the student will in this way acquire competence necessary to meet the objectives of the course that he/she would be unable to acquire from solely reading the syllabus and/or taking the exam.
